Galloway was founded in 1982 in Colorado by C.D. "Don" Galloway. Originally called Galloway, Romero & Associates, the name was shortened to Galloway in 2007 as part of a company branding exercise.

The firm currently holds professional registrations in 39 states and employs over 60 professionals with a unique balance of Site Development Coordinators, Land Planners, Architects, Engineers (civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical), Landscape Architects, and Construction Administrators.
